Introduction: This Handbook was written with the primary objective of assisting the Sounding Rocket Program’s customers in developing payloads that will reliably perform the requirements necessary to meet the scientific objectives of the mission. It also serves a guideline that defines the minimum requirements for an effective quality system (ISO 9001). Customers of the Program are also referred to within this document as: principal investigators, program users, scientists, and experimenters.
