Excerpt: Purpose. To approve disestablishment of subject shore activity detachment assigned to the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) per reference (a). Background. Naval Security Group has reviewed all its sites to identify any performing missions that were not sufficient to justify the financial costs of continuing their operation. Navy transformation and changes in overall mission focus obviate the need to continue operations at Naval Security Group Detachment, London.
