Excerpt: PATHFINDER--A TRAJECTORY PREDICTION SYSTEM FOR THE GREAT LAKES. This report describes a series of computer programs that can be used interactively to simulate currents and particle trajectories on the Great Lakes. The user of the programs supplies meteorological data and initial particle locations. The programs allow the user to examine predicted currents, particle locations, and particle paths in several different formats.
